Congratulations to Anjay Dhir '24.

Special recognition was given to senior
Anjay Dhir (Lombard) during Montini Catholic's Founder's Day Award Ceremony on Friday, May 17th. The senior was awarded the Lasallian college preparatory high school's James and Dorothy Bell Memorial Scholarship, awarded for academic achievement, engineering skill and creativity.
Anjay, a graduate from Glenn Westlake Middle School, is an Illinois State Scholar, an AP Scholar and was the 2023-24 Vice President of Montini's National Honor Society. He was also President of the Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society, PR Officer for the Tri-M Music Honor Society and a member of the Spanish Honor Society. Anjay played an integral role in securing a trip to the VEX Robotics Worlds Championship this past spring as captain of Montini's Robotics Team, and helped the Math Team earn a 6th Place at State in 2024. He joined the Broadcasters team, Audio Crew and Flight Club as well as a student as Montini. Athletically, Anjay participated in both Golf and Volleyball. He was also voted by the student body to be a member of the 2024 Prom Court and enjoyed Montini's Student of the Month status in March of this school year.
At Founder's Day, Anjay was also awarded the IHSA Scholastic Recognition Award, the President's Award for Academic Excellence, the Gold Academic Award from Montini's Technology Department and the Silver Award for his participation in Student Activities. In addition, Anjay was recognized as the Most Valuable Participant (MVP) awards for Flight Club and Robotics Team.
James† and Dorothy Bell† were members of the Montini family as alumni grandparents (Morgan Bell Ripper '02 who is married to alumnus Mike Ripper '99).
